What do you like best about the Heartland Jazz Orchestra?
The Orchestra with its Musical Director has taken me to a new level
in my playing.
It has allowed me to play things I would never have
played before, which reminds me
of a quote by Ronald E. Osborn "Unless you
try to do something beyond
what you have already mastered, you will never
grow."
I also enjoy the fact that we are bringing the music out to the
community and winning
over new jazz fans every time we play.
Other groups you play in or have played with?
Dance Bands in the area including The Tony Barron Orchestra and the
Johnny K Orchestra.
Community Theater and the Bloomington/Normal Community
band. Weddings and Brass Quintets
Other interest or hobbies? Computers, Football, Auto Racing,
and of course spending
as much time with my Wife and four
children.
